My laptop recently lost it’s ability to connect to my printer over the network. “Both our computers were down with various ailments. I typically took my hard drive in to an area shop that did a good job of cleaning it out and getting me back in business. This time we had the laptop running from the desktop and I wasn’t sure what needed to go in so I checked the yellow pages and was drawn to Geekyguys because it said they made house calls. Problem solved. Called them and left a message about the problem. Greg called us back and set up an appointment to come out. Greg was on time, friendly questions about the problems we encountered, he got right to work, he explained my questions, and did not give up when he encountered a number of viruses and assorted problems on my units. He was able to hook my unit up to free virus protection for the future, and I was able to use my computer just a few hours later. There were a number of downloads and unloads that took a lot of time to do, but Greg only charged for the time he actually worked on the programs, so the bill was very reasonable and far less than trying to replace the computer. Geekyguys is a great service for us older guys that play on our computers but don’t know a thing about fixing them, and I’m sure glad we called. I’m passing the word to everybody I know.
