How to Remove a Proxy in Firefox

If you are interested in removing or changing the proxy in Firefox, read on...

In Firefox...Click the TOOLS menu at the top and select OPTIONS.

From the OPTIONS window, click the Advanced icon at the top. There will be some tabs listed below, select the NETWORK tab.

Under the Connection header, click the Settings button and choose NO Proxy if don't use a proxy.

If your proxy has been changed without you knowing about it, then more than likely you have a virus or some spyware that is the cause.
